The START centre is a science driven academic research community joint by the united Danish universities on a multi-interdisciplinary level with an international scope.

As such the centre will be able to draw on state of the art equipment and infrastructure across all eight of the Danish universities and build upon the legacy of Danish research, collaboration and knowledge that has made Denmark one of the world leading nations scientifically, politically and industrially in the broad scope of Agrifood Systems.

This enables us to play a key role in developing the tools and strategies unlocking green transitions of the Agrifood Systems that can mitigate the climate changes and ensure a sustainable and long-term systemic change.
