START invites to Masterclass 8/10, 3/11 and 3/12

Join START’s Masterclass 2025 (pilot edition) “Mastering societal and sustainable impact - how to excel in mission-driven research?” to boost your skills in mission-driven research. Get a chance to expand your network, and co-create the future of innovation at START.

START invites all researchers from PhD level and higher to TIF (Triple-I, Impact, and Funding) Masterclasses 2025 (pilot edition), where you can engage directly with START hub coordinators, researchers, and fellow START members from across disciplines, working together to explore new methodologies and tackle real-world challenges.

The Masterclass series covers three key themes across three sessions: Triple-I Methodologies, Impact Assessment Frameworks, and Funding Landscapes – held on October 8, November 3, and December 3, 2025.

Program

  • Masterclass 1: Triple-I Methodologies
    Learn to apply START’s integrative, inclusive, and interdisciplinary (Triple-I) approach through tools for project development, stakeholder mapping, and multistakeholder engagement.

  • Masterclass 2: Impact Assessment Frameworks
    Explore various sustainability impact frameworks, understand funder requirements, and practice assessing impact to unify different disciplinary perspectives.

  • Masterclass 3: Funding Landscape
    Gain skills to translate Triple-I and impact frameworks into strong funding applications by interpreting donor expectations and crafting effective application.

All Masterclasses are held in person at locations in Copenhagen and Aarhus and are free of charge. There is no online participation option.
