Title: Hands-on strategies for building and maintaining engagement in sustainable behavior
Description: “Why isn’t anyone engaging?” This question is familiar to many practitioners who invest significant time, energy, and resources into designing programs or initiatives, only to see limited participation. Roslynn Brain McCann has worked with individuals, communities, academics and government representatives for over a decade in fostering environmental behavior. She will share strategies to increase the likelihood of engagement, including how she builds co-creation in from the onset, breaks down barriers and increases benefits to engage, and applies multiple tools ranging from social norms to incentives to increase success. Participants will discover concrete strategies and increased capacity to build and maintain engagement.
During this online event, Roslynn will give a 30-45 presentation followed by plenum questions and discussions.
